Dorota Kałuża-Kopias – PhD research fellow at the Unit of Demography and Social Gerontology, University of Lodz. Main fields of her research include: population migration, demographic conditions of the labor market and marriages.
Dorota Kałuża-Kopias takes part in national research projects (“Population reproduction and mobility within the Lodz region”, “Old people in the Polish society in the first decade of the 21st century”, “Demographic problems of the population of Lodz from the aspect of social and economic issues as well as health”, ”Spatial differentiation of ageing of Polish population – reason, stages and consequences”, “Social and economic development of Lodz in comparison of some cites in Poland and other countries in Europe – present and future situation”, “Analysis and stochastic modeling of mortality – projection for Poland up to 2050".
She is also a co-editor of the following monographs “Jakość życia w XXI wieku. Ku aktywności”, (“Life Quality of the Elderly in the 21st Century.
